Callers Flood WVLK Radio To Discuss Tubby's Departure

Tubby Smith's new job has been the talk of the town ever since he announced his departure to the University of Kentucky Wildcats Thursday.

Callers lit up the phone lines Friday morning at WVLK radio to talk about Tubby and the future of UK basketball.

Our own Dave Baker and Drew Deener talked with the concerned callers this morning.

There were a lot of people who defended the former UK coach and there were some who said it was time for him to move on.

As expected, there was plenty of speculation from callers about who will take over as head coach.

But as of now there are only speculations about who will take Tubby's place, but there have been no announcements as to whom it will be.
