Memorial For Murdered Teen Damaged

A memorial to a murdered Scott County teenager was damaged after a car crashed into it.

The driver is accused of being drunk.

The memorial for Ashley Lyons and her unborn baby sits in Scott County Park. Lyons was murdered back in 2004 at the Georgetown park.

Now, Ashley's mother says she'll have to repair the memorial. Several items in the memorial were damaged, including statues and a bench.

Police charged the driver, James Poore, with DUI and criminal mischief.
