Investigation Continues Into Explosive Device

Print

Police continue to investigate how an explosive device got inside a car in Magoffin County.

Investigators say someone reported a bomb in the engine of a Ford Bronco, parked in a shopping center parking lot.

The SUV belonged to 33-year-old Randy Back, who worked there.

The bomb squad diffused the device and are now trying to figure out how it got there. So far, there have been no arrests.

The area around the explosive device was evacuated Monday afternoon, but everything was back open Tuesday.
