Man Arrested Following Bomb Scare In Salyersville

State police have made an arrest in connection with that bomb scare Monday in Salyersville.

Police say the suspect is the owner of the vehicle where an explosive device was found. Police say Randy Back is charged with second degree use of a weapon of mass destruction and first degree wanton endangerment.

The explosive device was found under the hood of Back's SUV in a shopping center parking lot. Back worked in that shopping center.

A state police bomb squad able to dismantle the device and nobody was injured.

Police aren't saying why Back had the device or any other details at this time.

Back is being held in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
