Truck Driver Hit And Killed Along Interstate

The rain Wednesday morning may be a factor in a deadly accident along I-64 in Carter County. A truck driver was hit and killed, standing beside the road.

The victim is a truck driver who was trying to mark off the area around his stalled truck so other drivers would see it Instead, people say another driver ran into him.

The interstate was shut down for a while while police investigated the accident, but everything is now back open.

Police have still not released the man's name, but we're told he was from Virginia.

Police say no charges have been filed against the driver of the car.
