Details Released About Deadly Fall

New information is released in the death of an electrical worker in Mercer County.

Timothy Barker fell from a high voltage tower at Kentucky Utility's E.W. Brown plant on Tuesday morning.

KU officials say Barker had been following proper procedures while he tightened bolts on the tower.

However, KU officials said that at one point, Barker un-tied his safety belt to move to a different area. That's when he fell 93 feet to his death.

The coroner says Barker was an 18-year veteran of this type of work.

Federal, state, and KU investigators continue to look into the accident.
