Lexington police are trying to piece together the details of a shooting that happened late Thursday afternoon.
Officials say the shooting happened somewhere on Michigan Street around 3:00pm. Investigators believe the victim was shot inside his car, then he tried to drive himself to the hospital with several gunshot wounds to his face and chest.
A passerby saw the blood covered victim and then gave him a ride to the hospital. His condition is not known. No word yet on any suspects.
