Clark County To Merge SchoolsThe Clark County school board gave the go ahead tonight to consolidate four elementary schools in the county.
The decision was made at a school board meeting Thursday night to merge four of the system's older schools, Fannie Bush, Providence, Pilot View and Trapp elementries.
The plan which includes building a new high school still has to be approved by the state.
The earliest this new plan would take effect would be 2010 The school board plans to hold two more public hearings in the future.
