Flights Diverted After Lights Go Out At Airport

Video will be available shortly

A problem on the runway at Lexington's Blue Grass Airport forces flights to be delayed, some for several hours.

An airport spokesperson tells 27 NEWSFIRST a regulator went out, which left the runway lights dark.

Flights couldn't land at the airport between 8:30 and eleven Sunday night.
The airport spokesman says he doesn't know how many flights had to be diverted or delayed.

We're told it's rare for a regulator to go out.
It took workers about two hours to get the problem fixed.
