Police Searching for Murder Suspect
State police say 54-year-old Danny Ray shot his neighbor, 58-year-old Hans Fernschild, with a shotgun Monday afternoon. It happened in front of Fernschild's wife.
We're told there was on ongoing feud between the neighbors.
The shooting happened on Kentucky 846 in the Island City community of Owsley County.
Police say after the shooting, Day took off into the woods with the shotgun. But he turned himself in late Monday night.
Day is being held without bond in the Three Forks Regional Detention Center.
His arraignment is scheduled for April 11 at 9:30.
