A Bourbon County family says they have a stranger to thank for staying with their 15-year-old son after he was hit by a car.
Clinton Peterson was hit by a car Sunday along Cane Ridge Road near Paris. His family says a complete stranger saw what happened, and came to his aid.
They say she comforted him, and prayed over him until emergency crews arrived.
Once they did, the stranger disappeared without giving her name. Peterson was air lifted to UK hospital. As of Tuesday evening, he was still in critical condition with several broken bones.
The family now wants to thank the good Samaritan who helped Clinton, but they need the public’s help in finding her.
A fund has been set up in Clinton’s name at Farmers National Bank in Paris.
