A Bourbon County teen was near death after being hit by a car along a rural road. But his family says their teenage son's life was likely saved by a complete stranger.
15-year-old Clinton Peterson was hit by a car Sunday along Cane Ridge Road near Paris. His family says the stranger saw what happened and stopped to pray over him in the roadway.
But Peterson's guardian angel disappeared when emergency crews arrived. Tuesday night the Peterson's were able to thank Ashley Hannah for coming to Clinton's aid.
They invited Hannah up to the teen's room to see him. He remains in critical condition. A fund has been set up for Peterson. You can donate at Farmers National Bank in Paris.
