Lexington Jury Recommends Life Sentence

A Lexington jury recommends a life sentence in the case of a Lexington man convicted of murder.
Prosecutors had been seeking the death penalty against Ondra Clay. A Fayette County Jury Found Clay guilty of strangling 20-year old Ebony Smith in may of 2005. Jurors also convicted him of sodomy. Detectives used D-A-A evidence to link Clay to the crime. The jury recommended a sentence of life in prison with no parole until at least 25 years served.
