Man Accused Of Murder Says He Is Innocent

He's accused of shooting four people, one was an 82 year old man that died. The Whitley County man charged with murder says police arrested the wrong man.

Teddy Keith Hurst is under extra security and has no bond in the Whitley County Jail. Hurst says he doesn't even know the victims of Wednesday's shooting and he has an alibi for when police were searching the hills looking for him Wednesday.

Hurst was sentenced on murder related charges in 1995 but he also denies having anything to do with that 1991 killing. He does admit to escaping from the old Whitley County Jail in 1996 because he feared he would get the death penalty.
