A head-on crash has killed one man and injured three others.

Police say Gary Calvert of Sharpsburg was driving the wrong way on Mt. Pleasant Road in Bath County when he hit another Chevy pickup.

Calvert died.

The three men in the other truck: Jerry Warmouth, George Cundiff, and Adam Warmouth, 18, are still recovering from their injuries.

Police say no one involved was wearing a seat belt.

Well Mom, there are a number of reasons people drive erratically. Sleep deprivation, distractions like Cell Phone usage, text messaging and even people using computers while driving. Kids also can distract a person if not taught to sit still, and behave in vehicles. I wouldn't assume the ONLY cause is alcohol. All the reasons I named off cause as many accidents as drunk driving, and sadly people STILL continue on talking on their phones etc. People need to realize when they get behind the wheel of a vehicle, they're also taking everyones life around them, including other drivers into their hands. Make sure you're rested, and focused on driving. Turn those phones off, if it's THAT important you talk on a cell phone, or text message.. or have to fuss with your kids, pull over out of harms way or better yet handle all that BEFORE you start the car. If that's too much to ask, start using taxi's and buses. You may save your life or anothers.

Was alcohol involved? Why else would somebody drive the wrong way?
