Big Ass Fans of Lexington, the world's leading manufacturer of high volume, low speed fans have gone green! The testing facility uses 35% less energy and 60% less water than a standard commercial building.

The U.S. Green Building Council plans to award Big Ass Fans with an LEED Gold plaque tonight. The Green Scene event will be held at the Big Ass Fans facility on Jaggy Fox way from 5:30pm-7:30pm. The event is open to the public for free tours tonight only.

Big Ass Fans is the first commercial build ling to be certified Gold in Kentucky by the U.S. Green Building Council.
