Car Strikes Gas Pump in Richmond

Video will be available shortly

A big clean up at a Richmond gas station Saturday after a car runs into one of the pumps.

It happened sometime overnight at the Redi Mart on Irvine Road.
The store's manager says the car somehow lost control on the road and plowed into a gas pump.

It ignited a flash fire, but not an explosion. That's because the gas lines were turned off at the time, since the store was closed.
The driver was taken to the hospital. Police are still investigating the crash.
