Clinics weren't scheduled to open until 9 a.m., here in Lexington, but at six o'clock, people were already out in lawn chairs to make sure they got the vaccine.

By mid-day the average wait was a little over 90 minutes, but being vaccinated against a potential killer is important.

The Fayette County Health Department will be scheduling more clinics through the end of the year.
