Father, Stepson Arrested After Stabbing

Late Night Stabbing In Lexington

A woman is in the hospital, and two men behind bars after a stabbing.

Police were called to a home on Alabama Avenue Monday night.
They found a 38-year old woman who'd been stabbed.
She was taken to UK Hospital with serious wounds, but police don't think the injuries were life-threatening.

Police say the stabbing stemmed from a disorder.
A stepfather and stepson were arrested for the crime.

Anthony E. Parks is charged with first-degree assault.
Police say he stabbed the woman in the chest.

64-year old James W. Fletcher is charged with second-degree assault.
Police say he stabbed the woman in the hand.

Both Parks and Fletcher entered not guilty pleas Tuesday afternoon.
They now have preliminary hearings set for April 20.
