Surveillance pictures of gas station robbery released

Investigators believe they may be very close to finding the man who held up a gas station in Lexington early Monday.

Police say surveillance cameras clearly caught the man's face when he hit the Shell station on Richmond Road at South Locust Hill Drive.

Before the robbery, the suspect picked up some beer and cigarettes from the store.

Police are now trying to obtain finger prints from those items.

Police released the surveillance pictures of the suspect Monday afternoon.
