Fire officials back on scene of shopping center fire

Investigators are back on the scene at a shopping center, trying to figure out what started a fire that killed dozens of animals.

It broke out at Hilltop Plaza, in Lawrenceburg, in Anderson County last night..

The puppies and other animals were trapped inside the All About Animals pet rescue and pet grooming business.

They all died.

Now fire officials believe the fire may have been electrical in nature.

Dozens of puppies and other animals are dead Monday night, after a fire breaks out at a shopping center.

They were inside a grooming and pet rescue business at Hilltop Plaza, in Lawrenceburg, when it caught fire.

None of the animals survived the fire.

A tanning salon also caught fire.

Crews had the fire out around 8:45 p.m.

The state fire marshal is conducting an investigation into what caused the fire.
