A man was rushed to surgery Monday night, after being stabbed several times.
Police say the man was stabbed at an apartment building, on Lyndhurst Place, near downtown Lexington.
They found the victim, after someone called 911, to report a disturbance.
Police say the victim answered when they knocked on his door, and was covered in blood.
Police are now trying to find that witness, to ask him about what he saw.
The victim, 49-year-old, Stanley Sosbe, was stabbed three times in the stomach.
He was listed in fair condition, as Monday night.
