Lexington Police are searching for clues that will lead them to the five burglars who hit a business early Friday.

Sam's Satellite and Electronics on East New Circle Road, near Meadow Lane, was broken into. Police say an alarm went off, alerting them to the people inside.

Surveillance cameras around the store captured the burglars. In the video, you can see the suspects roll up to the bar door in a red Pontiac Grand AM with tinted windows and rims.

Police say the five, all of whom were wearing masks, broke into the back door using crowbars. Officers say once inside, two of the men used the crowbar again in the storefront; smashing in the glass case and taking merchandise. Three others stayed in the back, grabbing what they could.

Police believe the five knew there were surveillance cameras inside the store.

The owner says the men made off with thousands of dollars of equipment.

If you have any information, you are asked to call Lexington Police at 258-3600.
