A tragic scene in Montgomery County as a man is killed while cutting down a tree.
James White was working with his son Jerry to cut down trees at a home on Cunningham Lane in Jeffersonville today when the tree fell back on him, killing him.
Jerry says his father typically cut down trees and would use the wood to heat his home or sell it.
The coroner says White died of blunt force trauma.
His family says Howard's Funeral Home in Montgomery county will handle his services.
