Two sheriff's deputies arrested on drug charges

Two sheriff's deputies find themselves on the wrong side of the law tonight.

State police arrested Washington County Deputies Wayne Bartley and Billy Mattingly, after troopers say they caught the men selling marijuana.

Sheriff Tommy Bartley, who is not related to Wayne Bartley, says the arrests are a huge setback to his department.

Both Deputy Bartley and Deputy Mattingly have been fired.

Along with drug trafficking, they've also been charged with official misconduct, evidence tampering, and theft.
