Bittersweet Ceremony For A US Army Reserve Unit

Video will be available shortly

After a successful year long campaign in Iraq that saw all 168 soldiers return home, the 400th quartermaster company is no more.

In a welcome home ceremony today at Meadowthorpe Elementary the soldiers were honored with awards and flags.

But equally important was the fact this was a last chance to say goodbye to one another.

The 400th is now officially dismantled. Latrace Muse was awarded the purple heart after being injured when a mortor exploded near her vehicle. She says its hard for the group to disband after being together for 6 years.

Most of the men and women will now join other units in the army and may be deployed back to Iraq for another tour of duty.
