The change to complete snow continues to work southward across Kentucky. Snow rates will come in around 1" to 2" per hour. Those rates could be even higher under some of the more intense bands.
Police say he led them on a chase in two different vehicles then crashed right into an officer Wednesday night.
The chase started on Cramer Avenue in Lexington when police tried pulling over Jonathan Jones, 36.
Police say Jones then ran out of the vehicle, behind some houses then got into another car.
Police followed him to Chestnut Street, where he is accused of hitting Officer Tyler Trippe with the vehicle.
The officer wasn't seriously hurt.
Jones is charged with assault on a police officer, fleeing and evading and possession of marijuana.
