It took several hours but a barricade situation at a Lexington home is over.

It all happened on Fontaine Road very close to Henry Clay High School.

Four people are under arrest and police say this is all connected to an early morning crime.

The barricade took place at an at apartment 2101 Fontaine Road.

It ended just after 11:00 AM.

The suspects that were taken into custody are believed to have been involved in an early morning home invasion on Pleasant Ridge Road.

The situation ended peacefully after police negotiated for hours.

Henry Clay High School was not placed on lockdown, but police did inform the school about the barricade and kept them updated on the situation.

Police say four people were arrested, two of them for hindering prosecution; 23-year old Jeremy Hersey and 18-year old Christian Cox were arrested for burglary charges.

The victim, 23-year old Thomas Henke, says he has staples in his head.
