College students across Kentucky paused Tuesday to remember those killed Monday at Virginia Tech University.
Georgetown College students gathered for a moment of silence and prayer.
The campus worship ceremony focused on the Virginia Tech tragedy, before heading into the regularly scheduled events.
Many students at Georgetown say their thoughts and prayers are with their fellow college students.
Meanwhile, students at Eastern Kentucky University also took time to remember those killed. It came during an annual ceremony that remembers students and staff that have died in the past year. A vigil is planned on campus Wednesday.
Vigils will be held Tuesday night at the University of Kentucky, Centre College, and Morehead State, and Transylvania.
Berea College will have a " Service for Remembrance and Prayer" on Thursday.
