EKU Campus Evacuated

Police are investigating a bomb threat that caused the evacuation of students and staff at Eastern Kentucky University's Manchester campus.

The university says the threat came in an e-mail received on campus.

A statement from the university says emergency officials were notified and the campus was evacuated. E-K-U police responded in cooperation with Kentucky State Police, Manchester police and other
emergency personnel.

A search of the campus didn't find anything suspicious and the all clear was given at around four Wednesday afternoon.

Bomb threats have been reported at a number of schools across the country following Monday's shooting spree at Virginia Tech that left 33 people dead.
