Crime Alert: Thieves Looking For Open Garage Doors
Lexington police are on the lookout for some thieves who are hitting homes in broad daylight and stealing golf clubs. Nearly a dozen homes in the Hamburg area have been hit in the past few days.
Neighbors have even witnessed the burglaries. They say two men in a white truck drive around looking for an open garage with golf clubs visible from the road. One man then runs in and takes the clubs. Most victims say their clubs run between $1,000 and $3,000 dollars Police say the men are likely pawning the golf clubs.
