Late Sunday night, Lexington Police arrested a third suspect in a robbery in the parking lot of a Walmart store.

The suspect is Robert L. Taylor, Jr., 19.

Police say Taylor, along with three other men, followed the female victim to the store at Nicholasville Road and Man O'War Boulevard, punched her in the face and stole her purse Sunday afternoon.

The search continues for a 17 year old, who police say had his one-year-old baby with him during the hold-up.

Right now, investigators are trying to determine if he is already in jail in Madison County on an unrelated charge.

Shortly after the robbery, Lexington Police arrested Kerrion Washington and Anthony Jenkins, who are both 18. They are charged with complicity to commit robbery.

Police say the victim and her attackers did not know each other, and this does appear to have been a random act of violence.

The victim was treated at Central Baptist Hospital but has since been treated and released.

I hope all females read this because I've got a few good pointers for you about staying safe while shopping this year (esp. Black Fridy). 1)Do not carry a purse! I have found that hard backed cases meant for smokers are great for holding cash and cards. You can carry eveything in them except change. Wear jeans and they fit snugly in the FRONT procket. They come in all designs.2)Put money away before leaving the checkout line. Who cares if people complain, you will be safe. 3)Carry keys in other pocket, take off all keys except what is needed for the car. That way if they are taken, they don't have your house keys. I have a large clip that I put my different key rings on. I remove the one I need. 4) Put the key you need firmly in you hand with the point outward. You now have a weapon, and don't be afraid to use it. Go for the eyes. 5)Wear a long shirt that covers your pockets so no one can tell what you are carrying. 6)Leave coat in car unless it is too cold to dash into the store.

It's amazing -- this reporter published at least two robbery stories (this one and the WalMart story). In the Walmart story, the suspect is reported as white. In this story, where the suspects are black, their races are not depicted. WKYT and all local media do this all the time.... It simply isn't PC to report the suspects' description if they are a minority.

They should be taken behind walmart and shot.
