FRANKFORT - All candidates running in the May 22nd primary must make public their campaign's financial strength by midnight Wednesday.
But Kentuckians won't be able to immediately view those reports online for 16 of the 34 candidates and gubernatorial slates. Those campaigns are NOT using compatible software to file electronically with the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance.
Secretary of State Trey Grayson says he has pushed for the compatible software to be mandatory.
Grayson is among candidates who must file this week for his re-election campaign.
While all three of the Republican contenders for governor are filing their reports electronically, four Democrats are NOT.
