Potential Cause Of Serious Crash Released

A seizure may have led to a crash that destroyed a family's back yard in Lexington.

The Lexington Herald Leader reports the daughter of a man involved the a one-car wreck Friday on Tates Creek Road says her father had a seizure before the accident.

Leah Wyatt says her father, Brent Collett, lost control of his car, ran off the road and clipped an 8-foot-high brick wall.

The car destroyed a back-yard pool, patio and play area before crashing through a fence and landing in a ravine about 150 feet away.

Collett was the only person injured in the crash.

He remains at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in serious condition.
