Students Will Pay Tribute To Classmate, Killed In Crash

A memorial service is planned for a Dunbar High School student killed in a crash.

Jesse Higgenbotham died last Thursday, a day after the crash on Versailles Road.

He was riding in a car when it blew a tire. The teenager behind the wheel lost control and slammed into a vehicle stopped along the side of the road.

A community wide service will honor him Sunday night, from seven to ten, at Dunbar.

Meanwhile another student injured in the crash is doing better. Mercedes Hopewell has been upgraded to good condition.
