Rape Charge Against UK Soccer Player Dropped

Police say 21-year old Michael Alexdander Strong faced ten to twenty years for the crime, but tonight he's cleared of a rape charge.

A grand jury heard all the testimony and evidence, but in the end decided there just wasn't enough proof to move this rape case any further.

Strong was kicked off the soccer team. His attorney says he expects to get him back on the team. Strong's attorney also adds he will now work to get the arrest cleared from his client's record.

Commonwealth's Attorney Ray Larson says unless new evidence is presented in this case, he will not bring this case back before a grand jury.
