Crash Sends Car Flying Into Front Yard

A teenager hurt in an accident continues to recover this morning. The force of the crash sent the car he was riding in, flying into a front yard, barely missing a house.

The accident happened just after midnight on Camelot Drive, near Wilson Downing.

Police tell 27 NEWSFIRST the teenage driver of the car thought he was going too fast, tried to brake, and lost control of the car. The driver told police his brakes locked.

The car hit a few trees, and went through a fence. It then went into the front yard of a home.

A passenger in the back seat went to the hospital, complaining of a leg injury.

Police say the three males inside the car at the time, are under 18 years old.
