Man In Jail After Striking Police Officers

A man is in jail after police say he hit two Lexington police officers overnight. It happened at the Courtyards Apartment complex on Red Mile Road.

Officers were patrolling the area, when they noticed a disorder on a balcony. Police say when the officers went to go check on it, a man hit them. The officers weren't injured. They used OC spray to subdue the suspect.

The man is charged with two counts of assault, alcohol intoxication, and disorderly conduct.
His name hasn't been released.
