Firefighters in Scott County protested outside the county courthouse Thursday night.
They're upset with the fiscal court's decision to reduce the manpower from 4 to 3 county firefighters working overnight.
The firefighters packed into the county council's chambers and voiced their concerns. They demanded council not cut their staff.
In the end, the council voted 6 to 1 to reduce the overnight staff at county fire stations.
