School Remains Closed After Fire

Video will be available shortly

The clock is ticking and school officials are scrambling to clean up a school, damaged by fire.

Police say three students set fire to Rockcastle County Middle School last Friday, damaging several classrooms.

The school's principal says crews spent all weekend cleaning up the damage, but there's still a lot of work left.

An entire section of the school will be shut down for the rest of the year.

So far, school at Rockcastle Middle is canceled on Tuesday and Wednesday, but there's no final word on when the school will open its doors.
