Pick-up Truck Slams Through Fence, Killing Driver

It took Lexington Police a while to actually find the scene of a deadly crash this morning.

It happened on Winchester Road near the intersection of Bahama Road.
Police say a pick-up truck went off the road, through a fence, and into a creek.

The coroner says 21-year old Robert Templeton died in the crash from blunt force trauma to the head. Police say he was not wearing a seat belt.

The passenger called family members to let them know what happened. The family members contacted Lexington Police, but couldn't give police an exact location. Police found the scene just before five this morning.

The passenger was transported to the hospital.

Police think alcohol could be a factor in the crash.
