Crews Pull Woman From Mangled Wreckage

A woman was trapped inside her car after wrecking outside a Madison County restaurant.

Just before 10pm, emergency crews were called to the Eastern Bypass by Banana's in Richmond for an SUV that flipped over the embankment and into the creek.

Firefighters were able to get her out and she was able to walk away.

The woman is in her late 30s or early 40s according to police. She was taken to Pattie A. Clay hospital to be checked out.

She's expected to be okay.
