Woman Visited Twice By Alleged Stalker

A woman who lives in an apartment complex near UK's campus says for the second time, a man has broken in to her apartment and watched her as she slept. She lives at the Newtown Crossing apartment complex, where similar cases have happened this year.

The first time it happened, the victim admitted she carelessly left their door and windows unlocked. But after that break in, the woman says she asked managers of the apartment complex to install dead bolts on their bedroom doors. She says they were told the cost of the locks would have to come out of their pockets.

Another break in happened just the past week. Now residents who say they've been extra cautious fear the man may have another way of entering their apartments. Police say they've added extra patrol to the area.
