MONTICELLO, Ky. (AP) - The state has recommended 15 years in prison with no possibility of probation for a southern Kentucky woman who admitted guilt in the drowning of her young son.

Eight-year-old Dylan Rambo drowned when Wynema Worley's car plunged into Lake Cumberland August 19th, last year. The Bronston woman and her six-year-old daughter escaped.

The 27-year-old Worley entered a guilty plea Tuesday in Wayne Circuit Court to amended charges. The charges were originally murder and criminal attempt to commit murder, which were amended to manslaughter second degree and wanton endangerment first degree.

The Commonwealth recommended a total of 15 years to serve and added opposition to shock probation or any other form of early release.

In testimony at Worley's preliminary hearing, a state police detective said Worley had consumed alcohol, smoked marijuana and taken Elevel, an anti-depressant for depression before running the car into the lake.

Circuit Judge Vernon Miniard scheduled sentencing for June 19th.
