Husband and Wife Killed in Lexington Crash

The accident happened around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon, at the intersection of Georgetown Road and Ironworks Pike in Lexington.
Authorities say Charles Curtsinger, 78, and his wife , Joybelle, were in a car that was hit by a van. The car was turning into a driveway at the time.
Charles died at the scene. Joybelle was airlifted to a hospital, where she later died.
Officials say they were from Oklahoma, and were in the Lexington area visiting relatives.
The driver of the van was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating what caused the crash.
