Reports Confirm Military Aircraft Crashed (Knox-Whitley)

We're told a military aircraft has gone down some time just before 5:00 Tuesday.

At this time rescue crews have not reported what type of aircraft it was or the number of passengers in the plane.

We do know the aircraft went down near the Woodbine area, just off the Knox-Whitley County line.

We're told the sheriffs department is looking for the wreckage. Several witnesses reported seeing the plane flying very close to the ground with smoking coming from the rear of the plane.
