Search Called Off For Plane Crash

Print
Video will be available shortly

The search has been called off in southern Kentucky for a plane that some witnesses thought had crashed.

Several witnesses reported seeing the plane flying very close to the ground with smoking coming from the rear of the plane in Knox and Wayne counties.

There were reports from county officials that a military plane went down, but military officials say all planes and personnel are accounted for.

We're told the Air National Guard plane landed safely in Wayne County with 12 crew members on board.

We'll have the latest on this apparent false alarm coming up at 11:00.
