Bath County Man Says He Was Car Jacked

By: Mark Kennedy Email

A Bath County man says he was car-jacked just minutes after he left his house.

The man, in his late teens to early 20's, says a man wearing a mask and carrying a gun jumped into his car and told him to drive. For nearly an hour, he drove on Interstate 75 until the man told the suspect he was going to run out of gas.

At that point, the man said the suspect told him to pull over and he jumped out on the side of the interstate. The man then drove to a Madison County gas station and called police.

Kentucky State Police and the Madison County Sheriff's office spent about an hour trying to track the suspect, but were unable to locate him.
