Massive Fire Destroys Factory

Video will be available shortly

A fire ripped through a pallet factory in northern Bullitt County on Thursday. All employees managed to escape the four-alarm blaze, authorities said.

The fire started in the drying room at Best Made Pallets around 11:30 a.m., Zoneton Assistant Fire Chief Kevin Moulton said.

Crews from four different districts were dispatched to the scene,
and the fire was under control in about an hour.

The building, including a factory and several small offices, was destroyed, Moulton said. One firefighter received minor burns to his forearm, Moulton said.

About 10 employees were in the building when the fire started, Moulton said. They tried to put out the fire before getting out.
