State Police: Suspect Identified in Carter County Triple Murder

27 NEWSFIRST has learned police now have a suspect in a gruesome murder where a mother and her two children were murdered.

State police confirmed Friday morning that they have identified a suspect in the triple murder, but they will not release who that person is.

At this time we do not know if there is any relationship between the suspect and the victims.

We have learned that police expect to make an arrest. They say that arrest won't happen today but detective say they're close.

We first told you about the fire at the family's Grayson mobile home back on May 10th where Jennifer Ison and her two children, 10 year old Shannah and three year old Marissa, were all found dead inside.

On Friday, a special ATF response team combed the crime, even shaking down the ashes looking for the smallest of clues.

The ATF response team is a very specialized team and one of only four in the country.

Police say the team will be at the scene all day and may even return Saturday for further investigations.
